Inactivating or Removing a Prescriber Location

When a prescriber is no longer working at a specific PrescribeIT® enabled location, you can inactivate or remove the corresponding Location ID from the doctor folder. It is important to ensure prescriber records in PharmaClik Rx have the most up-to-date information.

To inactivate a prescriber location from the doctor folder:

1. Select the Doctor button to search for and select a doctor.
2. In the main tab of the doctor folder, navigate to the Address section and select the tab with the location to inactivate.
3. Deselect the checkbox next to the Location ID. The PharmaClik Rx - Inactivate Prescriber Location ID window opens.



4. Select one of the following options from the PharmaClik Rx - Inactivate Prescriber Location ID window:
   • Inactivate Location ID: Select this option if the prescriber is still working at the location but not sending electronic prescriptions or if he/she has stopped working at this location.
   • Remove Location ID: This option will only be available to select if there are no prescriptions on file in PharmaClik Rx for this Location ID.  Select this option if the prescriber no longer works at this location.

   Note: If this is the only location ID on file for the prescriber, the prescriber will no longer be considered a prescriber.



5. Select OK

Result: The checkbox will be deselected and the location ID will be removed for the address.
